Ryan Leiderman
Tamara graduated with distinction from the University of Victoria and obtained a Bachelor of Science
Degree in Nursing in 2009. Tamara started her career in the hospital working on the hemodialysis and
peritoneal dialysis unit.
Two years later she decided to further her education and obtained certified practice in sexual health. In
2012, she volunteered to join a team of international medical professionals and travelled to rural
Honduras to provide medical care.
Tamara is a certified registered nurse who has a vast amount of experience in inner-city primary health
care, sexual health, infectious disease, as well as mental health and addictions. Tamara has conducted
research winning and international award and has been asked to speak at local and international
conferences.
Tamara’s kind, caring and compassionate nature puts all her patients at ease and her education and
passion for medicine also creates a confident dynamic. Tamara has further interests in aesthetics,
rejuvenate health and functional medicine and brings her unique expertise and nursing skills to Optima
Health at Herald Street Health where she has recently joined the team.
She enjoys advocating for her clients to allow them to live their best lives!
